Role: The MIS & Finance Analytics role is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and insight-driven financial reports to support business decision-making. The role focuses on transforming data into meaningful analysis, enabling performance tracking, forecasting, and strategic planning. Working closely with business and finance teams, the role ensures strong data governance, dash boarding, and actionable insights to drive operational and financial efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. MIS Reporting & Dashboards Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for business performance tracking Develop dashboards covering sales, margins, costs and key KPIs Automate MIS reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual dependency 2. Business Performance Analysis Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities Provide insights on revenue, cost, and profitability drivers Support business teams with actionable recommendations 3. Budgeting & Forecasting Support Assist in preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts Track actual performance vs budget and highlight key variances Support scenario analysis and business projections 4. Data Management & Governance Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and business data Maintain master data for reporting systems (sales, pricing, cost, etc.) Work with IT/ERP teams to improve data systems and reporting structures 5. Automation & Digital Initiatives Drive automation of reports using Excel, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), or ERP systems Improve reporting turnaround time and quality of insights Implement standardized templates and reporting frameworks 6. Ad-hoc Analysis & Decision Support Conduct ad-hoc analysis for management on business performance, cost trends, and investments Support leadership with presentations, reports, and financial models Provide insights for strategic initiatives and expansion plans 8. Working Capital & KPI Monitoring Track key metrics like receivables, inventory, and payables Monitor KPIs and highlight deviations with root cause analysis Support initiatives to improve cash flow and efficiency Professional Qualifications MBA (Finance) / CA/CMA / B.Com with strong analytics exposure Experience 2 - 6 years of experience in MIS, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or business analytics roles
