Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes within S/4HANA. Experience in integrating PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP PP processes: master data (BOMs, routings, work centers), MRP, demand management, capacity planning, shop floor control, and production order execution.
- Configure and support SAP QM processes: inspection plans, lots, notifications, quality certificates, batch management, and audits.
- Collaborate with PLM and MES teams to enable seamless integration between design, manufacturing, and quality systems.
- Work with cross-functional SAP modules (MM, SD, PM) to ensure end-to-end process coverage.
- Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and support testing cycles.
- Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring process optimization and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years relevant Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules within S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of MRP, shop floor control, quality inspection, and batch management.
- Experience in PLM and MES integration / Variant configuration experience / PPDS (preferred).
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
SAP EWM Consultant – Job Responsibilities: Exp required: 7+ years; Start date: Immediate.
- Implement, configure, and support SAP Materials Management (MM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM/EWM functional solutions.
- Configure and support procurement processes, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), RFQs, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, and Vendor Management.
- Manage Inventory Management (IM) processes including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfers, Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting, and Stock Adjustments.
- Configure and support warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing, staging, replenishment, wave management, and shipping.
- Design and optimize warehouse structures including warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and activity areas.
- Configure and maintain master data including Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists, and Batch Management.
- Support integration between SAP MM, EWM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI modules.
- Work on warehouse monitoring, queue management, RF framework, and barcode/RF device integration.
- Configure inventory valuation, movement types, stock types, and special procurement processes.
- Support serial number management, batch management, handling units (HU), and warehouse task processing.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production support issues within agreed SLAs.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements and interface development.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
- Support data migration activities using LSMW, Migration Cockpit, or other SAP migration tools.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Conduct end-user training and provide post-go-live support.
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, audit requirements, and warehouse operational standards.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, SAP EWM, and Inventory Management (IM).
- Experience with procurement, warehouse management, and inventory control processes.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM and Embedded/Decentralized EWM.
- Expertise in warehouse inbound, outbound, internal movements, and physical inventory processes.
- Experience with RF devices, barcode solutions, handling units, and warehouse automation.
- Understanding of integration with SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, and TM.
- Experience in configuration, testing, documentation, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP MM and/or SAP EWM certification is preferred.
- Experience with at least one full-cycle SAP implementation and multiple support or rollout projects.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and warehouse transformation projects is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
