Position Overview
SRK Sainik School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English & SST Teacher who can effectively teach English language and literature while helping students develop strong reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills. The teacher will foster critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in students while maintaining the discipline and academic standards expected in a Sainik School environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English literature & Social Studies in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans to enhance students’ language skills.
- Improve students’ reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and speaking abilities.
- Prepare assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Encourage participation in debates, speeches, writing activities, and literary events.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in academic planning and school meetings.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, school programs, and student development initiatives.
