Roles and Responsibilities:
- Advising Prospective Students: Provide information and guidance to prospective students about the educational programs, courses, and admission requirements of the institution.
- Application Assistance: Assist students in completing application forms, uploads, and other required documentation for admission.
- Interviews and Campus Tours: Conduct interviews and arrange campus tours for potential students and their families to showcase the institution's facilities and answer questions.
- Evaluation of Eligibility: Review and evaluate the qualification of the applicants to various programmes in VID.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with applicants, providing updates on the status of their applications, and answering their questions.
- Data Management: Keep records of applicants, their qualifications, and the admission process through CRM/ other software.
- Counselling and Support: Offer guidance and support to students and their families throughout the admission process.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to admission policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is important.
- Knowledge of Admission Processes: Familiarity with the admission process, including application requirements, national entrance tests.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a student-focused approach is key.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Language: Conversant with at least three languages i.e. Tamil. English and Hindi.
- Manage fees collection and related administrative tasks.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop and design skills for creating engaging content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in education counseling and administration.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
