- Operate centerless and internal/external grinding machines to manufacture precision parts
- Set up machines, including adjusting speed, feed, and grinding wheel
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments like:
- Micrometer
- Vernier caliper
- Dial gauge
- Maintain machine tools and perform routine maintenance
- Follow technical drawings and specifications for parts
- Monitor production process to ensure efficient workflow and minimal waste
- Report any machine malfunctions or defects to supervisors
Skills Required
- Knowledge of grinding machines (centerless, internal, external)
- Understanding of metalworking and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Precision and attention to detail
- Basic mechanical skills for machine maintenance
- Safety awareness in workshop and machinery operation
Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, or equivalent in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Tool & Die Making
- Machining or Manufacturing Technology
- On-the-job training or experience in grinding operations is often required
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
