Role Summary
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing key retail accounts, supporting distributor networks, and mentoring junior sales staff within your territory. You will act as a crucial link between the market and the company, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed primary and secondary sales targets within the assigned territory
- Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and key retail partners
- Execute sales plans through regular field visits, order generation, and merchandising
- Support and guide junior sales executives to improve team performance
- Monitor stock levels, collections, and sales data accuracy
- Participate in promotional campaigns and new product launches
- Provide timely and insightful sales reports and market feedback to management
- Stay updated on competitor activities and market trends
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience with a track record of meeting targets
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Leadership capabilities with experience mentoring or guiding sales teams
- Proficient in sales reporting and basic data analysis
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable with regular travel and fieldwork
