Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisine, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of Indian dishes including curries, gravies, breads, rice preparations, and regional specialties
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow standard recipes and kitchen SOPs
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ingredient requirements
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Expertise in North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, or regional Indian cuisine
- Food presentation and quality control skills
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team coordination and communication skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
- 2–7 years of experience in Indian kitchen operations
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, resorts, or fine-dining establishments
- Knowledge of tandoor, regional specialties, and menu planning is an added advantage
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
