Position Title: Manufacturing Head

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our manufacturing plant operations in Bilaspur, Gurugram. The Manufacturing Head will oversee end-to-end production planning, quality assurance, shop floor operations, material requirement planning, and plant administration for our electrical panel and switchgear business.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Finalize production schedules aligned with customer orders. Plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements to ensure timely delivery commitments.
- Materials & Inventory Management: Drive Material Requirement Planning (MRP), identify shortages, coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement, and oversee inventory accuracy with the Stores team.
- Quality & Process Control: Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards and internal quality norms. Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control procedures for LT, MV & HT panels (PCC, MCC, Control & Relay, PLC, VCB/SF6, VFD panels) and switchyard equipment.
- Productivity & Cost Optimization: Implement continuous improvement (Kaizen/Lean) and cost-reduction initiatives. Identify bottlenecks, eliminate line wastages, and minimize shop floor downtime.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams of production engineers, supervisors, and technicians while maintaining strict shop floor discipline and safety standards.
- Project Execution & Customer Interface: Ensure project-based custom orders meet client technical specifications. Coordinate during factory acceptance tests (FAT) and audits with clients.
- Systems, Compliance & Reporting: Maintain production documentation, statutory compliances, and factory safety norms. Leverage ERP/SAP systems for tracking and generate periodic MIS reports for executive management.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Deep technical expertise in LT, MV & HT panel manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of switchyard equipment (33kV / 66kV / 132kV) erection and testing procedures.
- Hands-on proficiency in SAP / ERP production and inventory modules.
- Proven leadership capabilities in handling large manufacturing units and shop floor workforces.
- Excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in electrical panel / switchgear manufacturing, with substantial experience in a plant leadership or senior production management role.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Hindi.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
