Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
- Estimate project costs for residential, commercial, institutional, and Healthcare projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine material and labor requirements.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, and feasibility studies during the design stage.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
- Prepare and verify contractor bills, work measurements, and payment certificates.
- Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising quality.
- Maintain records of variations, change orders, and additional works.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams for accurate project costing.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and project financial updates for management.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or cost management.
- Experience in architectural, interior, and construction projects preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, rates, and contracts.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
