Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with 1–5 years of experience in industrial automation and special purpose machines (SPM). The candidate should be capable of developing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC programs for industrial automation projects.
- Design and configure HMI and SCADA applications.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, control panel wiring, and P&ID diagrams.
- Perform machine commissioning, installation, and onsite support.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors, and electrical control systems.
- Support machine testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
- Coordinate with electrical, design, and assembly teams during project execution.
- Prepare PLC program backups, technical documentation, and reports.
- Provide maintenance support and resolve automation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- PLC Programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Schneider)
- HMI Development
- SCADA Basics
- Electrical drawing reading
- VFD and Servo Drive integration
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Machine commissioning and troubleshooting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machines), industrial automation, conveyors, packaging, or assembly machines.
- Experience in machine installation and customer support is an added advantage.
