Job Summary:
Responsible for leading research and development activities for air conditioning products, driving product innovation, design improvements, testing, and new product development while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the R&D function for air conditioning and HVAC products
- Drive new product development (NPD) and product enhancement initiatives
- Manage product design, prototyping, testing, and validation processes
- Conduct research on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor products
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Sales teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements
- Optimize product performance, energy efficiency, and cost effectiveness
- Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and project deliverables
- Lead and mentor the R&D team and technical engineers
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and product specifications
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, thermodynamics, and product design
- Expertise in product development and engineering innovation
- Leadership and project management skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, testing methodologies, and engineering tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or related field
- 10–15+ years of experience in HVAC or A/C product development
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Air Conditioner, HVAC, Refrigeration, Consumer Durable, or Cooling Equipment Manufacturing
- Knowledge of energy efficiency standards, product certification, and advanced HVAC technologies
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
