- Manage and supervise Reception, OPD and IPD front office staff; allocate duties and prepare duty rosters.
- Set performance standards, monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and motivate the team.
- Conduct staff induction, training, departmental meetings, and in-service training as required.
- Attend Management meetings and communicate relevant instructions to the concerned staff.
- Ensure smooth patient registration, admission, discharge, bed allocation, and patient flow.
- Maintain and improve bed occupancy through effective bed management and admission procedures.
- Resolve OPD/IPD patient and attendant queries and complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with Cash Billing, Insurance, and ECHS departments regarding billing, approvals, and patient entitlements.
- Ensure accuracy of patient registration, admission, and financial information through regular review and audits.
- Communicate hospital admission rules, policies, procedures, and services to patients, relatives, and visitors.
- Liaise with Nursing, Emergency, Maternity, OPD, OT and other departments for smooth patient care and admissions.
- Monitor front desk operations and recommend improvements for efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, professional standards, SOPs, and confidentiality requirements.
- Implement and monitor Quality Policies, SOPs, and NABH guidelines within the department.
- Participate in quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report reception-related operational issues and concerns to Management.
- Maintain effective communication between employees, patients, departments, and Management.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hospital Management / Healthcare Management / Hospital Administration.
- Experience: 5–6 years of relevant experience in hospital Front Office, Patient Services, OPD/IPD, Admissions, or Hospital Administration.
- Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and patient-handling skills.
- Working knowledge of hospital processes, billing/insurance/ECHS coordination, and NABH standards preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
