vConstruct is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead multiple Reinforced Concrete detailing projects while mentoring Project Managers and driving consistent project execution across a portfolio of work.
This role combines operational leadership, client relationship management, and team development. The successful candidate will oversee project performance, support strategic project planning, coach project management teams, and work closely with Technical Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple detailing projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
- Mentor and coach Project Managers, Team Leaders, and project teams.
- Review project execution plans, staffing requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project health, productivity, financial performance, and resource utilization.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Technical Managers to ensure technical consistency and constructability.
- Resolve project risks, escalations, and delivery challenges.
- Support workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance development.
- Lead project reviews, financial reviews, and portfolio performance meetings.
- Promote standardized project management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic project pursuits, proposals, and client presentations.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Contribute to strategic pursuits, project planning, and organizational initiatives that strengthen the business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- More than 12-15 years of experience in Reinforced Concrete detailing, VDC or BIM industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and leading project management teams.
- Strong client relationship management and leadership experience.
Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Tekla Structures (preferred and advantage), Rebar Cad, aSa MicroStation, Arma Cad and Reinforced detailing workflows.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, constructability, and BIM coordination.
- Knowledge of ACI, CRSI and applicable construction standards.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and project reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Design Assist, Design-Build, or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
