- Review drug profiles to identify potential therapeutic incompatibilities, harmful drug interactions, or allergies.
- Counsel patients directly regarding proper medication usage, side effects, storage guidelines, and precautions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by checking expiration dates, processing stock reorders, and ensuring correct storage conditions.
- Handle controlled substances and narcotics securely, keeping accurate records according to legal regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, insurance providers) to resolve prescription queries or billing issues.
- Maintain digital health records safely by updating patient data and prescription logs in the pharmacy management software.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and assistants to maintain high productivity, absolute cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.
