The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance &
project activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and optimizing plant
performance. The role involves managing a team of maintenance professionals
across electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plans, and schedules
for the factory.
Ensure timely execution of planned preventive / Predictive
maintenance activities, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
Identify and implement cost-effective maintenance solutions.
2. Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, supervisors, and
technicians (Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation).
Provide technical guidance, training, and development opportunities to
team members.
Conduct performance appraisals and ensure adherence to company
policies.
3. Equipment Reliability & Optimization:
Analyse equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Implement reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) and predictive
maintenance techniques.
Tracking of PM/ Pred Maintenance. Compliance Vs Plan, MTTR & MTBF
for Equipment’s
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize
plant performance.
4. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and
statutory requirements.
Promote a safety-first culture within the maintenance team.
5. Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the maintenance budget, including resource allocation and cost
control. Monthly Tracking and adherence
Ensure effective utilization of resources, including manpower, materials,
and contractors.
6. Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with production, operations, and other stakeholders to
ensure alignment and achieve common goals.
Communicate maintenance plans, progress, and issues to the Works
Manager and other stakeholders.
7. Contractor Management: Site Contractor Management
8. Purchase – Specifications / Negotiation management, Follow up of materials
and ensure receipt as
9. Statutory Compliances: Good work experience of all Statutory requirement as
per Factory act pertaining to Engineering department
Required Skill Set: Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9000, ISO 14000,45000)
Experience with maintenance software and systems (e.g., CMMS)
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability engineering,
and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Engineering standards like ASME, IS Standards etc. (Will be advantage
but not a must).
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
