Job Title: Shift Incharge – Sulphuric Acid Plant
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing shift operations in the production of Sulphuric Acid, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven manufacturing processes. The role involves supervising manpower, maintaining process parameters, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all activities during the assigned shift in the Sulphuric Acid plant.
- Ensure smooth plant operation by monitoring critical process parameters and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain production targets while ensuring product quality meets specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and utility teams for uninterrupted operations.
- Handle shift manpower allocation, training, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, reports, and production records.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, deviations, or equipment failures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 8–9 years of experience in Sulphuric Acid or similar chemical manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of sulfonation processes, plant operations, and safety standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
