Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination across multiple construction projects. The candidate should possess strong expertise in project controls, resource planning, delay analysis, and reporting while ensuring projects are delivered within the planned timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Develop baseline programs, recovery plans, and revised project schedules.
- Monitor project progress against planned milestones and identify schedule deviations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Billing, and Design teams for effective execution.
- Prepare Weekly, Monthly, and Look-Ahead Progress Reports.
- Monitor critical path activities and recommend corrective actions.
- Plan manpower, equipment, and material requirements based on project schedules.
- Track procurement and material delivery status to avoid project delays.
- Conduct project review meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
- Perform delay analysis, productivity analysis, and risk assessment.
- Monitor project cash flow and coordinate with billing for revenue planning.
- Ensure timely submission of client schedules and progress updates.
- Support tender planning, resource estimation, and execution strategy preparation.
- Maintain planning dashboards and MIS reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual milestones, and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction planning and project controls.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (Preferred) and MS Project.
- Excellent understanding of CPM, WBS, resource loading, and project scheduling.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of billing coordination and project execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Certification in Primavera P6 will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2-5 years in construction planning.
- Experience in Industrial, Commercial, Warehouse, Factory, Infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
