Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities are introduced in stages. You will begin with product learning and enquiry handling, and
progressively take ownership of your own set of accounts.
● Learn the product range – jointing sheets, spiral wound and RTJ gaskets, PTFE products, rubber sheets,
engineering plastics and gland packings – along with their materials, ratings and applications.
● Handle inbound enquiries from customers, IndiaMART and other portals, and respond with the correct technical
and commercial information.
● Study customer requirements and, with guidance from seniors, recommend a suitable sealing solution in terms of
material, style, pressure-temperature rating and dimensions.
● Prepare quotations, follow up systematically and support negotiations through to order closure.
● Track orders from enquiry to dispatch and keep customers updated at each stage.
● Coordinate with procurement, production and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
● Prepare technical documents, dimensional reports, product documentation and test certificates.
● Assist in preparing General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) for customer approvals.
● Support vendor registration and approved vendor list (AVL) submissions with PSUs, EPC contractors and large
industrial customers, including GeM and e-procurement portals.
● Track tenders and RFQs on e-procurement platforms and help compile compliant bid submissions.
● Accompany senior team members on customer and plant visits, and gradually build your own relationships with
procurement, projects and maintenance teams.
● Maintain customer records, the sales pipeline and follow-up schedules in Excel or CRM.
