Job Summary:
Otoki Restaurant is looking for a dynamic and personable Guest Relations Executive (GRE) to act as the face of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. The GRE will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, addressing queries, and providing a seamless dining experience with warmth and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome and Interaction:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server.
- Build rapport with guests to enhance their dining experience and ensure repeat visits.
- Reservation Management:
- Manage table reservations efficiently using the reservation system.
- Coordinate with the floor team to optimize seating and minimize wait times.
- Handle walk-in guests by accommodating them effectively or suggesting alternative timings.
- Service Support:
- Assist in ensuring the smooth flow of service by coordinating with servers, captains, and the kitchen.
- Monitor guest feedback during the meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Offer assistance with menu recommendations or special requests.
- Guest Relations:
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate serious issues to the restaurant manager when necessary.
- Maintain a database of regular guests, including their preferences and special occasions, to offer personalized service.
- Assist with managing VIP and special occasion arrangements, such as birthdays or anniversaries.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between guests and the service team, ensuring clear communication and smooth operations.
- Keep the team informed of any special instructions or guest requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A polished, professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
