The Senior Manager – Commercial will be responsible for driving robust financial governance and commercial excellence at the Waluj manufacturing facility. The role will ensure transparency, compliance, and efficiency across factory accounting, payables, inventory, fixed assets, and reporting, while actively leading digitalization initiatives and fostering a culture of ownership, integrity, and continuous improvement aligned with Siemens values.

Factory Accounting and Cost Control

Lead factory accounting, including product costing, overhead allocation, and monthly financial closing

Ensure accurate, timely reporting and detailed variance analysis

Drive cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives in alignment with plant objectives

Payables Management and Controls
-
Oversee invoice verification and bill passing aligned with PO/GRN and contractual terms
-
Ensure timely vendor payments while adhering to Siemens compliance frameworks
-
Strengthening internal controls to improve payable efficiency and accuracy
-
Warehouse and Inventory Governance
-
Ensure efficient warehouse operations covering receipt, storage, and dispatch
-
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy in SAP
-
Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock and drive corrective actions
-
Stock Verification and Internal Controls
-
Lead periodic physical inventory verification and reconciliation
-
Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective/preventive measures
-
Strengthening controls to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory reliability
-
Governance, Compliance, and Audit
-
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (including GST) and Siemens internal policies
-
Support internal, statutory, and corporate audits and ensure timely closure of observations
-
Promote a strong culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance
-
Provisioning and Financial Discipline
-
Ensure accurate provisioning and accruals in line with accounting standards
-
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
-
Maintain completeness and accuracy of financial liabilities
-
Fixed Asset Management
-
Manage capitalization, asset accounting, and depreciation
-
Ensure periodic physical verification and proper asset tracking
-
Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets Digitalization and Process Excellence (Key Initiative)

Lead digital transformation across commercial and finance processes

Leverage SAP for standardization, automation, and controls
-
Develop dashboards and insights using Power BI for data-driven decision-making

Utilize advanced MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analytics

Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and efficiency improvements

Foster a data-driven culture across plant operations

EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Responsibility

Ensure adherence to Siemens EHS guidelines and policies

Your success is grounded in:

CA / CMA
-
10–15 years of experience in manufacturing finance / plant commercial roles
-
Experience in multinational environment preferred
-
Strong hands-on experience in SAP (FI/MM modules preferred)

Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Experience in Power BI / data analytics tools
-
Strong foundation in costing, inventory, and financial controls
-
Knowledge of statutory compliance and audit
