Job Summary
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, assisting with statutory compliance, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP/Tally Prime or ERP systems).
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, receipts, and payments.
- Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor ledgers.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Support GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare and maintain payroll-related accounting entries, if required.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
- Perform any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the management.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Freshers with good accounting knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
