Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ERP & Logistics Supply Chain Import & Export ERP Developer with 5+ years of relevant experience in ERP development, logistics, supply chain management, import & export operations, database management, and system integration.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and Java and be capable of independently developing, customizing, maintaining, and enhancing ERP solutions for logistics, supply chain, import, and export business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP & Supply Chain Development
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain ERP and Supply Chain Management systems.
- Develop ERP modules for procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, transportation, sales, purchase, billing, finance, and MIS.
- Understand business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Automate supply chain and logistics processes through ERP applications.
- Integrate ERP modules with internal and external business systems.
Import & Export ERP
- Develop and maintain ERP modules for Import & Export operations.
- Manage processes related to Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Shipping, Documentation, Customs, CHA, Freight, and Delivery.
- Develop workflows for import/export documentation and shipment tracking.
- Manage Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Purchase Order, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, and other trade documents.
- Integrate ERP with customs, logistics, freight-forwarding, and third-party systems where required.
- Track shipment status, freight costs, duties, expenses, and delivery schedules.
Logistics & Transportation
- Develop modules for Fleet Management, Trip Management, Vehicle Tracking, Freight Management, Driver Management, and Delivery Management.
- Integrate GPS/vehicle tracking systems with ERP.
- Develop logistics dashboards, reports, and MIS.
- Automate freight calculation, billing, and logistics cost management.
Python Development
- Develop ERP backend applications and business logic using Python.
- Develop REST APIs, automation tools, reports, and integrations.
- Debug, test, maintain, and optimize Python applications.
SQL & Database Management
- Design and maintain ERP databases.
- Write complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Perform database optimization, migration, validation, backup, and recovery.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity.
Java Development
- Develop and maintain Java-based ERP applications and backend services.
- Integrate Java applications with databases and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing Java applications.
API & System Integration
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and Web Services.
- Integrate ERP with logistics, accounting, banking, GST, e-way bill, GPS, customs, and other business applications.
- Ensure secure and reliable data exchange between systems.
Domain Experience – Preferred
Candidates with experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Import & Export, Freight Forwarding, CHA, Shipping, Warehouse, or Transport ERP will be highly preferred.
Knowledge of Customs processes, EXIM documentation, freight management, inventory, shipment tracking, GST, and e-way bill processes will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in ERP/software development.
- Strong practical experience in Python, SQL, and Java.
- Proven experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Import & Export ERP development.
- Ability to independently handle ERP development, customization, database management, API integration, troubleshooting, and system support.
