Senior Accountant (GST & Tally Expert)
About Us
Paal Pharma Machinery Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical processing machinery, serving the pharmaceutical, API, chemical, cosmetic and food industries. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Senior Accountant who can independently manage the company's accounting operations, taxation and statutory compliance with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Record, verify and reconcile all financial transactions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers and month-end closing.
- Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, Input Tax Credit (ITC), E-Way Bills and GST-related documentation.
- Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain purchase, sales and inventory accounting records.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and banks whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, debit notes, credit notes and statutory records.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and government regulations.
- Assist management in financial planning, budgeting and reporting.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Excellent understanding of GST laws and compliance.
- Experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC reconciliation.
- Knowledge of TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and ledger reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prepare financial statements independently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com
- CA Inter (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Additional accounting certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing company will be preferred.

Salary & Growth
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and practical knowledge.
- Performance will be evaluated during the initial working period.
- Candidates who demonstrate strong technical knowledge, responsibility and commitment will be considered for a salary revision and long-term growth within the organization.
