What This Job Involves
Provide strong sourcing leadership across the APAC region. Manage a small team of sourcing professionals to deliver optimized solutions, supporting properties in multiple countries. Proactively manage a robust Project Delivery Services pipeline while maintaining the established Integrated Facilities Management supplier portfolio.
Sourcing Leadership
Lead end-to-end sourcing processes for project-related bidding (infrastructure upgrades, small projects, fit outs). Manage programs from initial scope collection, bidder coordination, proposal evaluation, final supplier selection, and contract award. Coordinate cross-functional RFP teams involving technical subject matter experts, legal, finance, and operations stakeholders to ensure comprehensive evaluation. Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with client objectives and drive measurable value across the portfolio.
Manage contractual paperwork for facilities management services (maintenance, operations). Perform periodic market trend analysis; analyze supplier base, industry changes, and emerging opportunities. Report analysis to business stakeholders in an executive-facing form.
RFP Process Management & Optimization
Standardize and continuously improve RFP processes, templates, and evaluation methodologies to increase efficiency and consistency across all sourcing initiatives.
Manage multiple concurrent RFP processes while maintaining quality standards and meeting aggressive timeline requirements.
Lead supplier debriefing sessions and provide detailed feedback to unsuccessful bidders while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Team Management and Development
Recruit, develop, and retain top sourcing talent across the APAC region. Manage and coach team members on their performance, progress and developmental goals. Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence. Establish work priorities, assign deliverables and resolve issues to assure client satisfaction.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Client Partnership
Work strategically with key stakeholders, regional procurement teams, and external vendors to develop and support sourcing strategies. Partner closely with Project Delivery teams throughout sourcing processes, managing expectations and providing regular status updates. Lead and participate in client meetings and strategy sessions. Establish and maintain relationships with client leadership.
Compliance, Risk Management and Process Excellence
Ensure compliance to JLL's sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics. Establish relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standards and are formally reviewed and approved. Standardize and continuously improve sourcing processes, templates, and evaluation methodologies to increase efficiency and consistency.
Vendor and Performance Management
Manage the Supplier Performance Management Program, including collaboration with Project Managers, Finance, and Operations teams. Develop and maintain robust supplier databases with pre-qualified vendors across multiple service categories.
Analytics and Reporting
Undertake benchmarking through analytical data at site, country and item-specific costs and budgets. Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based methods for tracking savings, cost avoidances, monitoring supplier performance, and sourcing effectiveness. Communicate these results to the business.
Interested? An Ideal Candidate Would Need to Have the Following Qualifications
Required Experience and Technical Skills
Four-year degree from a college or university in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
MBA preferred
CPM, CPSM, CPSD, or related certification preferred
10+ years in strategic sourcing or related experience with particular emphasis within Corporate Real Estate Services, Facilities Management, and Project Delivery environments
Project management and business transitions experience preferred
Proven track record of project management work within the construction management industry
Proven experience managing teams, vendors, or stakeholders across multiple countries in the APAC region
Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and strong analytical ability
Excellent communication skills – oral and written
Fluent in English
Strong financial analytical and negotiation skills required
Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards
Elevated knowledge of regional suppliers, market trends, bidding processes and negotiation skills
