Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests, sample analysis, and experiments as per standard operating procedures.
- Handle, label, and maintain laboratory samples with proper accuracy and safety.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Record and maintain accurate test results, observations, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and quality procedures.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and testing materials as required.
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and coordinate for procurement when needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting laboratory equipment and reporting technical issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments for sample collection, testing updates, and reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Follow regulatory and company standards related to laboratory operations.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality control activities whenever required.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Good knowledge of laboratory equipment handling and testing procedures.
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for report preparation and data entry.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing laboratory setup preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities efficiently.
