Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in industrial
automation systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory Control
and Data Acquisition). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and
implementation of electrical control systems for automated machinery and industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD
Electrical or equivalent software.
Develop and program PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric) for industrial
automation applications.
Design and configure SCADA/HMI systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial
processes.
Select appropriate sensors, actuators, relays, and control devices based on application requirements.
Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and ensure compliance with electrical standards (e.g., IEC,
NEC).
Collaborate with mechanical, process, and software engineering teams during project development.
Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and provide technical documentation including test procedures and
user manuals.
Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on-site as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry codes, and customer requirements.
Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical design and automation, preferably in an industrial or
manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
Experience with SCADA/HMI software such as WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design tools.
Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
