About the Role
The Business Development & Education Counselling professional is responsible for generating student leads, building institutional relationships, counselling students and parents, and driving admissions and revenue growth.
The role combines outreach, relationship management, lead generation, and student counselling to support the centre's growth objectives.
Business Development & Outreach
- Conduct awareness activities in schools, colleges, tuition centres, and public events.
- Organize seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, webinars, and orientation programs.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, principals, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Generate quality student leads through outreach activities, partnerships, referrals, and campaigns.
- Promote the institute's programs and services effectively.
Student Counselling & Admissions
- Counsel students and parents on courses, career pathways, and admission processes.
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Explain course features, schedules, fees, and outcomes.
- Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
Lead Management & Relationship Building
- Manage enquiries from walk-ins, calls, website, events, and digital campaigns.
- Conduct timely follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings.
- Maintain accurate lead records and updates in CRM systems.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.
Events & Coordination
- Support promotional campaigns, seminars, workshops, and outreach programs.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Submit activity reports and maintain required records.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/ Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong counselling, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Business development and relationship management capability
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel for outreach activities
