Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Forwarder to manage end-to-end international shipments (Air/Sea). The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good knowledge of logistics processes, and the ability to coordinate with overseas clients—especially in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end shipment operations (booking to delivery)
- Coordinate with carriers, agents, and clients (US-based)
- Manage documentation: Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), AWB, etc.
- Ensure smooth customs clearance (export/import)
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients
- Negotiate freight rates and manage cost-effective solutions
- Resolve shipment issues and delays proactively
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/Excel
Requirements
- 6 months – 3 years experience in freight forwarding / logistics / export-import
- Good understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.)
- Strong English communication (verbal + written)
- Comfortable working in night shift (US process)
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / logistics software
- Problem-solving mindset & attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience with US logistics / freight brokerage process
- Knowledge of shipping lines & airline coordination
- Prior experience in international client handling
