Ambitious freshers with Diploma / Degree in Electrical/Electronics background
Location: Kottayam / Trichur / Palakkadu / Kozhikkode
Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar segments across assigned territories
Site Evaluation & Feasibility
Conduct initial site visits and structural/shading assessments to evaluate solar potential, load requirements, and optimal system sizing.
Techno-Commercial Proposals:Collaborate with the engineering team to design layout options, estimate energy yields, and prepare clear techno-commercial proposals, including return on investment (ROI) and payback calculations for clients.
Policy & Subsidy Guidance: Educate customers on Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) grid connectivity procedures, net metering, Time of Day (ToD) tariff optimization, and relevant government subsidy schemes (like PM-Surya Ghar).
Deal Closure & Relationship Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead qualification to final contract signing. Build strong, trust-based relationships with homeowners, business heads, architects, and contractors.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure a seamless handover of closed deals to the Project Execution team, assisting clients with initial documentation and KSEB registration formalities.
Requirements & Key Skills
Technical Knowledge: Basic to solid understanding of solar PV components (modules, inverters, net-metering setups). Knowledge of high-efficiency N-type or microinverter systems is highly advantageous.
Local Insight: Strong familiarity with the Kerala market landscape, KSEB billing structures, and consumer preferences.
Language Proficiency: Must be highly fluent in Malayalam and English with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Mobility:Must possess a valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license and be willing to travel extensively across the region for client meetings and site assessments.
Attributes: Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with field sales.
