Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and collaborates across teams to maintain seamless quality assurance processes, fostering an environment that supports continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics to assess testing progress and outcomes.
- Familiarity with defect management and resolution processes.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
