DCDP / Chef de Partie (South Indian Cuisine)
Location: Inchathotty, Neriamangalam , Ernakulam, Kerala
Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast, lunch, dinner buffet for upto 40 guests daily, and snack items with consistency and excellent taste.
- Specialize in Kerala and South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations.
- Prepare popular Chinese dishes such as fried rice, noodles, Manchurian, chilli chicken, and other commonly ordered items.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in accordance with hotel and FSSAI guidelines.
- Monitor inventory, minimize food wastage, and assist with stock planning.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure proper handling of kitchen equipment.
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning and introducing new dishes when required.
Requirements
- experience as a DCDP/Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
- Strong expertise in South Indian and Kerala cuisine is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Chinese cuisine is required.
- Ability to prepare food consistently while maintaining quality during busy service hours.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in resorts or hospitality establishments will be an added advantage.
