Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our family clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, assist doctors during consultations, and ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining clinic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with clinic protocols
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and medical history
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and vaccinations as prescribed
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in treatment areas
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-treatment care
- Handle patient documentation and update medical records accurately
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Manage medical equipment and ensure proper sterilization
- Coordinate with pharmacy, lab, and other departments when required
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid Nursing Council registration
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts and as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of basic computer operations is an added advantage
