Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations. Beyond standard accounting, this role focuses heavily on the unique financial complexities of the jewelry industry, specifically high-value inventory tracking, precious metal reconciliation, and manufacturing cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Metal Control: Track and reconcile precious metals (Gold/Platinum) and gemstones against daily market rates.
Manufacturing Costing: Calculate exact product costs, factoring in raw materials, labor ("making charges"), and metal wastage.
Stock Audits: Oversee periodic physical counts of high-value inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
Core Finance: Manage daily bookkeeping, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and monthly financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to high-value transaction regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) rules, and local tax laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
1+ years of accounting experience specifically in retail, manufacturing, or bullion trading.
Proficiency in Excel, Tally and retail/jewelry ERP software.
High integrity and extreme attention to detail.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
