Job Title: Sales Executive - Pune
Role Definition
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within the designated territory. The role involves meeting customers, promoting company products, coordinating with distributors and dealers, monitoring market trends, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to achieve the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the company.
- Identify and develop new customers, dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and sales meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote company products and services to increase market share.
Customer & Dealer Management
- Provide excellent support to customers and channel partners.
- Coordinate with dealers and distributors to ensure smooth order execution.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
- Maintain long-term business relationships with key customers.
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales Reports to the Sales Manager.
- Update customer information and sales activities in ERP/CRM systems.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations for order processing and customer support.
- Monitor sales performance and provide market feedback.
Market Development
- Conduct market surveys to identify customer needs and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Collect market intelligence and recommend strategies for business growth.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Good knowledge of sales processes and business development.
- Understanding of distribution channels and regional markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP/CRM data entry and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering + MBA in Marketing.
- 0–3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management. (Modify based on actual experience.)
- Fresh MBA graduates with strong communication and sales aptitude may also apply.
- Knowledge of channel sales, dealer management, and regional markets will be an added advantage.
