Scaffolder – Shipbuilding (Job Description)
Position: Scaffolder
Industry: Shipbuilding / Ship Repair
Key Responsibilities:
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures onboard vessels and within shipyard facilities.
Inspect scaffolding materials and equipment before use.
Ensure scaffolding is built according to safety standards and project requirements.
Install access platforms, ladders, guardrails, and safety barriers.
Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to provide safe access for maintenance, painting, welding, and fabrication activities.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
Follow all shipyard safety rules, procedures, and permit requirements.
Requirements:
Experience in scaffolding work, preferably in shipbuilding, ship repair, or construction projects.
Knowledge of scaffolding materials, tools, and safety regulations.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Physically fit and capable of handling scaffolding components.
Understanding of workplace safety practices.
Skills:

Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions.
Strong commitment to safety.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
