Job Summary:
The Product Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving products that meet customer needs and align with company goals. This role bridges the gap between product design and manufacturing, ensuring that products are functional, cost-effective, and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and develop new products.
- Create detailed technical specifications, drawings, and prototypes.
- Evaluate materials, processes, and designs for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct performance tests and analyze results to ensure product reliability and compliance with standards.
- Identify and resolve design or production issues.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain high product standards.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Liaise with production teams to ensure smooth product manufacturing.
- Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support during product launches.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor product performance and gather feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Update and refine designs based on user feedback and technological advancements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Post Diploma in Tool Design
- Experience: 0–4 years in product design, development, or manufacturing (or entry-level for junior roles).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
