We are looking for an experienced Sales Trainer to build, train, and enhance the performance of our Academic Counselors and Sales Team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trainer who can develop, implement, and deliver sales training programs that improve lead conversion, counseling effectiveness, communication skills, objection handling, and overall sales performance. The ideal candidate should have experience training education counselors, telesales teams, or EdTech sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver sales training programs for Academic Counselors and Sales Executives.
- Conduct onboarding and induction training for new team members.
- Train teams on:
- Lead conversion techniques
- Consultative selling
- Student & parent counseling
- Objection handling
- Closing techniques
- Follow-up strategies
- CRM best practices
- Conduct role plays, mock counseling sessions, and live coaching.
- Monitor call recordings and provide performance feedback.
- Identify skill gaps and create improvement plans.
- Track training effectiveness through sales performance metrics.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, scripts, presentations, and playbooks.
- Work closely with management to improve sales processes and team productivity.
- Conduct refresher training sessions and performance workshops.
RequirementsEssential
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Training, Sales Coaching, or Learning & Development.
- Strong experience in telesales, counseling, inside sales, or EdTech sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach teams to achieve targets.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales funnels.
- Experience conducting online and offline training sessions.
Preferred
- Experience in EdTech, Education, Coaching Institutes, or Training Industry.
- Experience training Academic Counselors or Admission Teams.
- Knowledge of sales analytics and performance tracking.
- Certifications in Sales Training, Coaching, or Learning & Development will be an advantage.
