Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders, priorities, capacity, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Sales, and Dispatch for smooth execution.
- Plan material requirements and follow up on raw and packing material availability.
- Monitor production progress against plans and follow up on delays and pending orders.
- Manage production priorities in line with customer delivery commitments.
- Create and maintain production orders, BOMs, routings, and planning data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Prepare production, backlog, material shortage, and plan-vs-actual reports.
- Identify planning issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Participate in daily production and planning review meetings.
- Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy, material availability, and on-time delivery.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning or material planning.
- Good knowledge of MRP, BOM, routing, inventory, and production capacity planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work within tight deadlines.
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturing is preferred.
