We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate Admissions Counsellor to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to prospective students exploring our industry-aligned technical programs, including Full Stack Development, Digital Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics , UI/UX and Cyber Security. You will be responsible for guiding applicants through the admissions journey, offering career-oriented advice, and driving successful enrollments through consultative engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Consultation: Engage with prospective students to understand their academic background, career aspirations, and skill gaps to recommend suitable programs.
- Program Advisory: Provide accurate, detailed information about curriculum structure, learning outcomes, career paths, and certification value for each technical course.
- Lead Management: Efficiently manage and nurture incoming leads from various sources (website, webinars, campaigns, referrals) using CRM tools.
- Conversion & Enrollments: Drive admissions by converting qualified leads into confirmed enrollments through follow-ups, personalized counselling, and addressing objections.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of all student interactions and progress within the admissions funnel to support timely decision-making.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with academic, marketing, and product teams to align on program updates, student feedback, and promotional activities.
- Event Participation: Represent the institution during open houses, webinars, info sessions, and career workshops to promote programs and engage potential candidates.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest trends in technology education and job market demands to provide relevant guidance to prospects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions counselling (mandatory).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English proficiency required).
- Strong consultative selling approach with the ability to handle objections.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management.
