Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that address unique business requirements. The role includes coding and refining various components within systems or applications, ensuring they perform efficiently and scale effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adapting to agile methodologies are integral parts of the daily workflow, enabling continuous improvement and timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong IT skills working as a Software Engineer with at least 7+ years of experienceCoding experience using SOLID principles and Design PatternsStrong in core Java (17+)Extensive experience on Spring Framework and Spring BootGood experience in any of the following technologies would be considered as a plus: Hibernate, Apache Camel, Kafka, Spring Batch, Spring SecurityPrevious experience in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL , PostgreSQL is a plusExp in DevOps activities such as CI/CD Gitlab pipelines with ansibleExperience of working on Azure (Entra ID, Oauth2, RBAC, AKV, AKS)Working using agile methodology
Nice to have: Experience on at least one Frontend technology such as ReactExperience of Test-driven Development and Behavior-driven Development practices
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
