Job Description:
SWADISH is currently hiring a Commis Chef to join our cloud kitchen operations in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Our kitchen specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, utilizing a traditional coal sigdi for cooking. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented culinary professional to assist with daily food preparation and order fulfillment.
Work Hours:
This position operates on a split-shift schedule. The required working hours are:
- Morning Shift: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients prior to peak hours, including chopping vegetables, preparing marinades, and making base purees.
- Assist the culinary team in cooking rice dishes, gravies, and fried items.
- Operate traditional coal cooking equipment safely and effectively.
- Assemble, portion, and package food orders accurately within tight timeframes.
- Follow standardized recipes and exact measurements to ensure consistent food quality.
- Maintain strict cleanliness and FSSAI-compliant hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or cloud kitchen.
- Practical knowledge of Indian cuisine preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak dining hours.
- Must be punctual and comfortable working the daily split-shift schedule.
