Job Summary
We are looking for a Content Writer with a passion for creating high-quality, SEO-driven content across the higher education domain. You'll be responsible for developing accurate, structured, and user-friendly content across colleges, exams, courses, scholarships, admissions, and career-related topics while ensuring clarity, factual accuracy, and search optimization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys research, and can simplify complex educational information into engaging, easy-to-understand content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and optimize high-quality content across Colleges, Exams, Courses, Scholarships, Admissions, and Career Guides.
- Develop content for:
- College pages (Overview, Admissions, Courses, Fees, Placements, Rankings)
- Exam pages (Eligibility, Important Dates, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Results, Counselling)
- Course, scholarship, admission, and career guidance articles
- Follow standardized content templates and editorial guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform.
- Ensure the accuracy of education-related information, including admissions, eligibility, fees, cut-offs, rankings, placements, and important dates.
- Write SEO-optimized content using target keywords, internal linking, and content structuring best practices.
- Conduct research to simplify complex academic information into clear, engaging, and user-friendly content.
- Collaborate with SEO, Product, and Editorial teams to improve content quality, search visibility, and user experience.
- Edit, proofread, and update existing content to maintain editorial standards and factual accuracy.
- Stay updated with admission cycles, entrance examinations, higher education policies, and industry trends.
- Leverage AI-powered tools responsibly to improve research and productivity while ensuring originality, factual accuracy, and editorial quality.
Requirements
- 6 months–2 years of experience in content writing (experience in the education domain is preferred).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
- Good research and analytical abilities.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimization, and search intent.
- Ability to work with structured content templates and data-intensive education content while maintaining accuracy.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity tools.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital publishing workflows is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Education, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience writing content related to colleges, entrance exams, admissions, or higher education.
- Understanding of the Indian higher education ecosystem, including undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, counselling, and entrance examinations.
- Familiarity with content quality tools such as Grammarly, Copyscape, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to SEO-driven content workflows will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
