Job Title: Senior Executive – Ecommerce Operations

Role Overview
The Senior Executive – Ecommerce Operations will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across online marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio and other platforms) & own Website. This role will own end-to-end product listing, content management, inventory hygiene, and daily order fulfilment to ensure a smooth customer experience and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Listing & Catalog Management
- Create, update, and maintain product listings on Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio and other marketplaces (titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, attributes, keywords, etc.).
- Ensure category-wise, brand-wise, and SKU-wise catalog completeness and accuracy as per each marketplace’s guidelines.
- Coordinate with design/content teams for listing images, A+ content, and enhanced brand content where applicable.
- Regularly audit live listings to identify and resolve errors, suppressions, duplicates, and compliance issues.
Content & Pricing Management
- Optimize content for better visibility, conversion, and platform SEO (search keywords, backend keywords, etc.).
- Update prices, offers, discounts, and promotions in line with the marketing calendar and business strategy.
- Ensure product information is consistent across all marketplaces and internal systems.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels across marketplaces to maintain healthy in-stock rates while avoiding overstock and stock-outs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for timely replenishment and stock transfers.
- Reconcile marketplace inventory vs. physical stock; track and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, and returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory master’s and prepare periodic inventory and sale-through reports.
Order Fulfilment & Operations
- Oversee the complete daily order fulfilment process from order download to dispatch and delivery, ensuring on-time and error-free shipments.
- Coordinate with warehouse/operations teams for picking, packing, invoicing, shipping label generation, and handover to courier partners.
- Track shipment status, handle exceptions (RTO, delays, lost shipments), and coordinate with marketplaces/couriers to resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to platform SLAs for dispatch, delivery, cancellations, and returns to maintain high seller ratings.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS for sales, orders, inventory, fulfilment TAT, returns and penalties.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in listings, inventory, and operations; suggest and implement process improvements.
- Share regular performance updates with management for decision-making.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, warehouse, finance, and customer support teams to ensure seamless ecommerce operations.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers for campaigns, events, promotions and resolving operational issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience with marketplaces such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Ajio and similar platforms.
- Good understanding of ecommerce cataloging, listing standards, inventory flows and order fulfilment workflows.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for bulk uploads, data analysis, and reporting.
- High attention to detail, process orientation and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to multitask and manage daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; preference for Commerce/Business/Operations-related fields.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in ecommerce operations / marketplace management, with at least 2+ years handling Amazon/Flipkart/Ajio listings and order fulfilment.
- Experience in a D2C or consumer brand will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
