Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels of Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and audits.
- Prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Procurement and Ordering
- Place spare parts orders with Maruti Suzuki and approved vendors.
- Track deliveries and ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding backorders and urgent requirements.
- Workshop Support
- Supply required parts to technicians and service advisors on time.
- Ensure parts availability for scheduled repairs and maintenance jobs.
- Minimize vehicle downtime due to parts shortages.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Handle retail sales of spare parts and accessories.
- Guide customers regarding genuine parts and their applications.
- Resolve customer complaints related to parts availability or quality.
- Store Operations
- Maintain proper storage conditions and bin locations.
- Ensure correct labeling and coding of parts.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) practices where applicable.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain records of purchases, issues, returns, and stock balances.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Analyze parts consumption trends and prepare forecasts.
- Team Management
- Supervise parts store staff and counter sales personnel.
- Train employees on inventory systems and Maruti Suzuki procedures.
- Ensure adherence to dealership policies and safety standards.
