Delhi World Public School, Kompally is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for music. The ideal candidate should be skilled in vocal and instrumental music, capable of conducting school assemblies, choir practices, cultural events, and classroom music lessons while creating an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students across different grade levels.
- Teach vocal music and basic instrumental music as per the school curriculum.
- Identify and nurture students' musical talents.
- Train students for school assemblies, competitions, annual day and other cultural events.
- Organize and conduct choir, group songs, and musical performances.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Maintain music instruments and ensure their proper usage and storage.
- Collaborate with teachers and school management for school events and celebrations.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, and performance reports.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and stage presence among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music (B.Music/M.Music) or an equivalent qualification.
- Degree/Diploma in Music Education is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/international school is preferred.
- Freshers with exceptional musical skills may also apply.
