We cover a diverse global student base, primarily teaching young learners across the US, UK, and international school ecosystems.
We are seeking a passionate, charismatic, and patient Online Chemistry Teacher to join our international faculty. In this role, you will teach foundational to advanced school-level Chemistry concepts to kids and teenagers. Because you will be interacting directly with students natively based in countries like the US and UK, exceptional English communication skills and a child-friendly, high-energy teaching style are strict requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Live Sessions: Conduct engaging, highly interactive 1-on-1 or small-group online Chemistry classes using digital whiteboards and video conferencing tools (Zoom).
- Simplify Complex Science: Break down abstract chemistry concepts (atoms, molecular structures, chemical reactions, periodic tables) into fun, digestible micro-lessons for kids.
- Curriculum Alignment: Adapt teaching delivery to align with international education frameworks such as the US Common Core, UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, or IB frameworks.
- Assign & Review Tasks: Assign creative, safe homework experiments/worksheets, review student submissions, and provide encouraging, constructive feedback.
- Parent Communication: Provide concise periodic progress notes or reports to parents to show academic growth and conceptual mastery.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves (Required):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Education, or a closely related scientific field.
- Language Proficiency: Exceptional, near-native spoken and written English communication skills.
- Technical Setup: A reliable laptop/PC, a high-speed stable internet connection, a clear HD webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace background.
- Soft Skills: Immense patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for mentoring and engaging with young children.
- Prior experience teaching international students (US/UK/Europe regions) online or in schools. (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Familiarity with international boards (IGCSE, GCSE, Advanced Placement, or IB PYP/MYP).
- Experience using online annotation tools, digital pens, or gamified quizzes to keep kids focused.
Job Type, Schedule & Compensation
- Job Type: Part-time / Freelance / Contractual.
- Work Location: 100% Remote (Work from Home).
- Schedule: Flexible hours, but must be available during US/UK after-school hours and weekends (e.g., late evenings, nights, or early mornings depending on your local timezone).
- Pay Range: ₹300 per hour.
