Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Indore. The Service Engineer will install, commission, and calibrate analytical instruments and scientific equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to technical specifications. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing repairs or replacements as needed. The role involves providing technical support to customers, documenting service activities, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and escalations. The Service Engineer will also communicate clearly with customers, offer basic user training, and uphold safety and quality standards during all field service activities.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in analytical instruments and scientific equipment.
- Field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing technical visits.
- Technical support capabilities, with the ability to guide users, answer product-related queries, and coordinate escalations.
- Maintenance and repair skills for performing preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and component replacement.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, draft service reports, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory practices, QA/QC, or R&D environments is an advantage.
- Ability to travel for field assignments, work independently, and manage time and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using standard service tools, diagnostic software, and MS Office for documentation.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
