Educational Qualifications
- Essential:
- Ph.D. in English / English Literature / Linguistics / Communication Studies from a recognized university.
- M.A. in English with a consistently good academic record.
- B.A. with English as a major or core subject.
- Desirable:
- NET/SET qualification.
- Publications in reputed journals, books, or conference proceedings.
- Experience in outcome-based education and interdisciplinary teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language, literature, communication skills, business communication, technical communication, and related subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical communication sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, question papers, and evaluation rubrics.
- Conduct assessments, examinations, and timely evaluation of student performance.
- Mentor students for academic improvement, competitive examinations, placements, and personality development.
- Enhance students' proficiency in spoken and written English, presentation skills, group discussions, and interview techniques.
- Utilize innovative teaching methodologies, ICT tools, and learning management systems.
- Participate actively in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and academic quality initiatives.
- Undertake research activities, publish scholarly work, and apply for funded research projects.
- Organize workshops, FDPs, seminars, literary events, language labs, and communication skill enhancement programs.
- Contribute to institutional committees, student clubs, admissions, examinations, and other academic responsibilities.
- Maintain records and comply with university, regulatory, and institutional norms.

Salary and benefits shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, research credentials, and institutional norms.
