We are looking for a Data Engineer who will own the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform . This role is focused on building reliable, scalable data systems that power analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
We need someone who is strong in data engineering fundamentals and understands how data translates into business insights. Basic exposure to DevOps and deployment processes is a plus.
Experience: 2–4 Years
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and optimize data models in Google BigQuery
- Ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming sources)
- Ensure data quality, validation, and transformation logic
- Work closely with business, analytics, and BI teams to understand data requirements
- Optimize SQL queries and improve pipeline performance
- Monitor pipeline reliability and troubleshoot failures
- Support deployment of data workflows across environments
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience designing and managing batch and/or streaming pipelines
- Data modeling for analytics and reporting
- Google BigQuery

- Dataflow / Cloud Functions / Cloud Run (any combination)
- Strong SQL skills
- Query optimization, partitioning, clustering
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Experience using Git for version control

- Familiarity with IAM roles, service accounts, and cloud permissions
- Exposure to Docker or Infrastructure as Code tools
- Ability to understand business KPIs and reporting logic
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Good communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
