We are seeking a Senior SAP HR ABAP Consultant to provide technical development and support for our SAP environments. In this role, you will ensure stable, high-quality custom developments and integrations within an outsourced client delivery model (AMS). You will work closely with functional consultants and global integration teams to support critical HCM, Payroll, and Time systems.Key Responsibilities
- Incident Management: Resolve technical incidents and defects across programs, interfaces, and enhancements.
- ABAP Development: Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, interfaces (PI/PO, CPI), reports, and forms.
- System Integration: Support seamless data and integration flows between SAP and external systems.
- Troubleshooting: Perform deep root cause analysis and execute bug fixing in support environments.
- Enhancements: Deliver minor enhancements and handle technical change requests.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all technical work complies with documentation and quality standards.
- SLA Compliance: Operate efficiently within SLA/KPI-driven delivery frameworks to ensure system stability.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Experience: 8+ years of strong ABAP development experience.
- Support Background: Proven experience working in AMS or application support environments.
- Technical Mastery: Expertise in enhancements, interfaces, reports, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP HCM, Payroll, and Time integrations.
- Teamwork: Experience working within global delivery teams (onshore/offshore models).
- Communication: Ability to function effectively as a client-facing technical consultant.
